For your consideration, we have a 1969 Mustang fastback F code automatic transmission, car

This is a two owner Mustang that has been in storage for the last 25 years. Approximately 25 years ago a restoration was started, and the Mustang was dismantled etc. This Mustang is missing the engine, transmission, as well as other parts. Much of what is missing are items that one would normally get rid of anyways while doing a thorough and quality restoration. That being said, there will invariably be other common items that you will need to source. This Mustang was originally candy apple red and was repainted blue at one time. This mustang has all of its original sheet metal with the exception of the trunk lid, which is aftermarket. The frame rails from front to back are in outstanding rust free condition. The quarter panels are original, and in a very nice shape. Both doors are decent with drivers door, needing attention on the front lower corner, due to rust. All the glass is present and in good condition. Both front fenders are original and in very good condition. Trunk floors are original and in very good condition. Engine compartment panels are original metal and in good condition. The floor panels are original, and in decent condition. The floor panels are solid and probably good enough to leave as they are however, if you wanted them to be perfect, there are a couple soft spots that could use attention. During the restoration which is started many years ago, somebody started installing a brand new headliner and just left it hanging there in our professional opinion. If you vacuumed out in between the roof and headliner, this headliner can be finished. The seats have been taken apart and will need to be reupholstered a full set of upholstery is included with the vehicle, as well as a brand new carpet set. These items were purchased many years ago, but I still brand new and in usable condition. The dash pad will need to be replaced. All of the wiring is present and in good condition. Older used reproduction bumpers are included, and they are in very good condition. This car comes with a clean Ohio title. This car needs a full restoration, but these Mustangs are getting tougher and tougher to find in this condition with all original sheet metal. Reproduction bodies without a title and without a single bolt-on piece are available for just under $20,000. This is a real Ford mustang and cheaper than a reproduction body. This car would make an excellent father and son project you can build this car to your exact specifications.
