1939 Mercury Convertible. This car was channeled long ago with the fenders raised up and the hood sectioned. In my opinion it did wonders to help the proportions! The channel was done really well for the time and the hood was sectioned very well and riveted together, like they didn’t have a welder and intended to finish it later. The running boards were removed and the rear fenders were moved up and tacked on. the trunk was trimmed off the bottom. It is lowered in the back with removing the stock spacer and a couple of leaves…..The car has great patina and is amazing as is, but it could be finished into a truly great custom!
