This is an X77D80 car that has been authenticated by Jerry MacNeish. It has numbers matching 12 bolt 3:73 positrac rear dated BU0624 and Muncie M21 transmission. The 302 engine is an early warranty replacement engine with a May 1969 casting date still preceding the car! The engine and transmission are just sitting in the cradle as they will need to be gone through and will aid in transporting. The body and undercarriage are solid and clean in all the critical areas such as frame, rear frame rails, dash and cowl area, roof, rockers, etc. The floor and trunk have some weak spots in the pans. This car has the rather rare U16 option with Tachometer and center fuel gauge, less console. Interior is in decent shape. A nice project.
