I have modified the car to accept a T56 Magnum Transmission the correct way. There are no clearance issues in the tunnel or driveshaft areas. There is plenty of clearance to achieve correct U-joint angles. Many T56 swaps will bind, vibrate or drone. I used AMD tunnel halves to construct a stock appearing tunnel using only butt joints-no lapping. The tunnel/floor pan does need final fit around edges and welded in. The car has its original paint.
