This Grand Wagoneer is in the first stages of the restoration. Unfortunately, the restoration has come to a halt due to unforeseen circumstances. The body panels have been stripped to bare metal and primed with PPG NCP 271 corrosion resistant primer. The metal on this jeep is amazing. The panels were stripped, then DA with 80 before priming.All exterior woodgrain panels, bumpers etc were going to be replaced.The under side of the vehicle is amazing! It has some minor surface rust, nothing major and the floors, frame etc.are in amazing shape! The transmission has been rebuilt and has less than 20 miles on it. The plan was to have the motor rebuilt, replace the brake system, re-do the interior, carpet and interior trim etc. If you are looking for a Wagoneer to restore, this one has a great foundation. Most everything you would be replacing is cosmetic.
