1976 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class – $1,500.00 obo

It’s a mechanic’s special – The car runs great but the transmission has failed so it will need to be towed or trailered. The car was my father-in-law’s and my wife received it when he passed away so it’s been in the family since sometime in the eighties. The engine failed a few years ago so we had a used engine put in and it runs great. It is a higher performance engine than stock for these years. It is fun to drive!The body is a bit rough and it has rust holes on the rocker panels and the floorboard. The odometer doesn’t work (though the speedometer does work) so the number of miles is unknown – it shows 179,647 miles.

Buyer has to pick up car locally.
