Here is a auction for a 1975 Corvette Project car. This Vette has rebuilt Chey 350 engine. Tooo many projects…the Vette needs a new home.
History
This started it’s life with me and a old eBay auction. The previous owner was a truck driver and never got to work on it, so it sat in a open RV storage lot. I purchased this Vette and started the cleaning & cleaning & cleaning process. Unfortunately a lot of pieces were missing, damaged, or the wrong parts. Could not steer…no steer console. I then pulled the motor & tranny and then sent the engine to Area Machine shop.The crankshaft & cylinders were machined to specs. The heads were wrong(came off a old pickup). So I purchased replacement heads & they machined them.
After the machining the engine was rebuilt with new pistons & lifters. Installed reconditioned exhaust manifolds and installed dual exhaust pipes. Rebuilt the carb and Poof the engine runs…HEY.
Next I de-rusting and treated with rust treatment on the underside metal frame(hours & hours). The wheels would not turn…so I rebuilt the Brakes & suspension on all 4 wheels. I replaced all brake calipers. Also had to replace the front hood(old hammer hole from broken release cable).
I found the rest of the missing dash & console parts (all works). I found the correct radio for this year & it was rebuilt. I worked on the fiber glass (replaced right front fender/panel. The seat frames were stripped & sand blasted, then powder coated. Installed Seat rebuild kits.
Next, had to replace the gas tank(wrong tank 1982 Vette), it kept pushing up the rear body section. Installed reconditioned 1975 gas tank. Attached the rear section to car frame (Eklers rear panel).
Currently sanding & filling the body panels. Found the front & rear bumpers(rubber).
Have all the lights & trim parts.
