For sale is a 1968 Barracuda Notchback Coupe in good restorable overall condition. 6 Cyl auto on the column and 7.25 rear axle. Bench seat interior. Car was driven until 1990 and put away due to a divorce and kept in covered storage until recently- it has never been redone/painted/modified- great car to build into something real neat- not hiding anything- it was never hit/repaired, so what you see is what you get! it is basic machine, and the previous owner drove it daily until life interjected, but never got rid of it- just didn’t have the time or means to fix it up. So, onto the description- body is pretty good for a 54 yr old car, and the grilles/hood/front valance/radiator support/inner fenders/firewall/rails/ header panel nice, fenders pretty decent, doors good, decklid is good but will need a little work under the lip. 1/4 panels are pretty good overall and will not need replacement- just lower rear patches behind wheels- not entire 1/4s. Paint is burnt off on the top of the car, but it is very solid- I would sand it and use a self-etching sprayable filler like All You Need or Rust Defender at 3 coats and sand it smooth- that stuff works great for this type of repair- eats the rust and seals it, and fills in any pitting. Both wide trunk lid trims are there (one is in the trunk).

Car needs the following:

*Trunk pan

*L/front floor pan

*Fenders are good and just needs lower patches- fender supports are good

*Inner fenders are nice, especially in the upper corners where they meet the firewall and fender mount flanges- L side will need a small patch below battery tray

* Trunk drain troughs need work in the corners as usual with these cars

*2 lower bottom rear window trim

This would be great for a big block or small block stroker swap- or Gen 3 hemi.the sky is the limit- along with your checkbook.
