1966 Plymouth Satellite Convertible Project.

BIG BLOCK CONVERTIBLE

VERY complete, VERY solid project. Not a rust bucket. It is a bucket seat, big block (383 4bbl V8, 727 automatic) convertible, with floors. It has power steering, automatic transmission, buckets, console, rally wheels, AM radio and power top.

It bears repeating that this is NOT a Fred Flintstone car. Iโ€™ve included a number of pictures of the rockers, etc., where these cars are usually just gone . . . Doors swing well. Also included is what might be the best original 66-67 B-body left quarter in captivity. It was cut from a CA hardtop about 20 years ago. It really needs to go on a Hemi Satellite or Belvedere but that will be up to the buyer. The worst rust on the car is pictured and appears to be in the lower right rear quarter, and I have a patch panel that goes with the car for that.

The car needs cosmetics, paint, interior, top cover and mechanical recommissioning, but is complete and rolls. The engine has not been started in some time but turns over by hand. I have included pics with the top frame up and down. I believe the car comes with every piece of trim, which can be hard to find with a MOPAR. I have a clear KY title in my name.

I have had this car since about 1982. I am out of space and, probably, time. I have read that there were 2,759 Satellite Convertibles built that year, but cannot confirm that. There cannot be many left.

Iโ€™ll start it at a (very) reasonable number with . I intend for the car to sell. It deserves better than to wait on me. If you want a big block convertible muscle car, you will be hard pressed to find a better, more reasonable place to start.
