Thanks for taking a look at our 1963 Ford Falcon Futura V8 project car. This project was purchased here in California through probate where it appears to have spent the majority, if not all, of it’s life.  There is zero rust. As the story goes, the gentleman who owned this car decided to restore his car to perfection. He carefully dismantled the car, checking and labeling each piece with a decision to refurbish or replace. Everything was carefully boxed and/or rebuilt in preparation for reassembly.  New accessories were added to the recently rebuilt 260 V8 engine. Parts were acquired from reputable sources like Dennis Carpenter as well as Ford genuine parts whenever available.  All of the suspension and brake systems have been completely rebuilt to OEM standards.  Upholstery is gorgeous and in place with a couple of cosmetic issues from sitting.  The gentleman passed and the project came into our hands. It seems very worthy of saving. Exterior. Originally produced in Rangoon Red per the trim tag. It appears all exterior trim parts are present and in good to excellent condition.  Good glass. No weatherstrips or canvas convertible top. Convertible glass rear window present. Convertible motor present. Headlamp buckets present. Very little, if anything missing from this project except as noted Wheels Tires Four OEM Futura wheel covers on steel wheels with shop quality tires that are incorrect for this car. Engine/Transmission 260 V8  Turns freely but not started. Story says it’s fresh. OEM 4 Speed transmission Braking/Steering Appears complete and restored but needs to be rechecked.  E Brake not installed but is included. Upgrades None, restoration to day one in progress. Service None, project car. Trim Please review the pictures closely as many items are included. Many small chrome parts need refinishing. Interior Correct gold and white two tone color and original to this car per the trim tag. Nice original gauges.  No carpet.  Mid restoration but excellent so far.
