For sale by owner: 1960 Healey 3000 BN7. Fairly rare model needing restoration. Originally Cream with medium red interior. It was partially disassembled many years ago but I have nearly all the parts. Good news is that has the usual options like overdrive, wires, telescoping wheel, windshield sprayer. Car rolls and steers easily. Transmission shits through all gears. Gauges look pretty good. Bad news is that after disassembly, it was moved outside and water has done damage from collecting in the cockpit.
Original engine doesn’t turn but I put some PB/ATF down the cylinders. Pulled the rocker cover and it’s remarkably clean, no stuck valves so I’m sure it’s stuck in the rings. Frame has significant rust at the rear shock mounts and will need a lot of structural repair, outriggers, and floor. All parts are readily available and I even looked at Jule too. I’d love to start restoration but I have two others already ongoing and need cash.
