Here is a 1957 Thunderbird project car.
I don’t know much of the history about the car but it probably was used as a parts car in the past as it is missing a lot of parts. It is still very restorable back to original or would make a great resto-mod! The trim tag and serial number tag are still in place on the firewall and the car has a clean Arizona title. The original colors are Starmist Blue with White interior and what a gorgeous car it would make!
As per my photos, the car has it’s rust issues but mainly in the cabin floor pans and the driver’s side door sill and rocker area. Someone in the past has purchased some of the new panels to start fixing it and all the other needed panels are readily available and very affordable. Many of the main body components are included such as the doors, hood, deck lid, front and rear fender extensions, gas door, air vent doors, dashboard and rear bumper.
The rolling chassis is fairly complete with all the front suspension, steering components, rear axle, brake drums, drive shaft and original wheels and hubcaps. There is no engine or trans. It does steer and roll very easily for ease of transport.
This would make a great project if you have another parts car to mate to it or it would make a great resto-mod project and it’s the most desireable year of the early Birds!
