Own a piece of history! This is a 1956 Ford Customline, 2door sedan. I was in the process of having it restored, which is why it is in a partially disassembled state. I don’t have the money to complete the restoration at this time, so I’m looking for someone who has an eye for vintage Fords and wants to restore her to her former glory.Details:The front end has been rebuilt, with a new crossmember, shocks, springs and all the bushings replaced. In addition, disk brakes have been installed.The front fenders, radiator support, trim, and window glass has been removed for restoration purposes. The interior door panels have also been removed, along with the window trim. All the trim is in great condition! The car was nosed and decked so the hood and trunk are clean of any trim.The style of the car is 70s hot rod. It actually appeared in 3 magazines in the early 80s. The gem of the package is the 427 low rise motor. It is an FE top-oiler from the 60s. The engine has been disassembled and checked and is standard boor. It is ready to be polished and put back together. The car also has a 4 speed top loader and has an NOS setup. It used to run 10s in the 1/4 mile at the track back in the day. It also has air conditioning!The body is rust free, which is hard to find in such an old car. There are some blemishes in certain areas where some body filler has cracked, but it is not too bad. The buyer will not have to worry about rust causing issues.This may seem like a lot of money for a disassembled car, but it is in great condition and the motor alone is worth quite a bit of money. I would love to complete the restoration myself, but I just don’t have the money and personal issues lead to the need to sell this prized possession.
