1950 Chevy 3100 truck, custom crew cab. For sale is the complete cab, doors, hood, both front fenders, both rear fenders, front grill, and both F & R bumpers. The donor trucks were meticulously selected and had zero cancer. Additionally, there is no visible indication of previous filler work. The bumpers are clean and the front Grill looks excellent, but there is one small crack at the top that can be easily fixed.
The work was done by an excellent custom truck shop that specializes in crew cab conversions. The same shop has built other crew cab conversion trucks for me and they are of outstanding quality. The door conversions were done correctly with the leading top corners squared off on the rear doors.
Quite simply, I’m selling the truck because I have four other crew cab projects in various stages of completion, so I’d have to store it for years before I could get to it. I purchased a late model Dodge, 5.9 Cummins 12V, 4×4 donor truck (not included) and I planned on mounting the 3100 body and bed onto it. I have other builds (Power wagons) in which I have done this and it’s a great way to go. Yes, I know a Duramax donor is more pure, but I’m a Cummins guy. I’ve included a picture Of a beautiful, silver custom Chevy 3100, crew cab conversion that inspired this project. This truck has a Cummins 6BT as well. I’m not desperate to sell the truck, so please don’t submit ridiculous offers.
